Ah yes, the CZ Scorpion EVO 3, one of my favorite 9mm carbines out there. It’s a great gun, sure. But what if you do not feel that comfortable with your aim? Will a red dot offer an instant improvement or is it more of a hindrance for your long-term process as a marksman?

Many enthusiasts claim that red dots are a waste of money with little to offer in terms of performance. This is especially true for those who grew up shooting iron sights. When it comes to my tastes, I love red dots. Not only have they improved my capabilities with firearms, but they have also made the shooting process that much more enjoyable.

If you have decided to join the ranks of weapon owners who want to enhance their Scorpion with a red dot, then this guide is for you. In this article, we will be looking at the cream of the crop of CZ Scorpion EVO 3 red dots and see how they perform in the field.

Without further ado, let’s get into it. These are the best red dot sights for Scorpion EVO 3 in 2022:

• Trijicon MRO

• Holosun HS510C

• Bushnell TRS-25 Trophy Series Red Dot Sight

• Aimpoint Micro T-2

• SIG SAUER ROMEO XDR

Trijicon MRO

It looks simple and compact on the surface, but boy does the Trijcon MRO pack a mighty punch!

The optics here are, simply put, phenomenal. After playing around with this red dot for a while, I have come to the conclusion that it is one of the clearest and most precise sights on the market today.

First off, the field of view – it is massive! I consider my eyesight generally good, but the difference this product made to my game was immediately noticeable. Tracking comes with ease and I can stay on target even when when the object moves in erratic, unpredictable patterns.

The next thing that stood out to me was the 2 MOA dot size. The Trijcon MRO has a very good balance between speed and precision. Just adjust your zeroing and you can be sure that your shots will be right on target, even at longer distances.

To top it all off, this red dot is built like a tank! The anodized aluminum housing can take a beating and keep on ticking. You will also not have to worry about water or fog getting into the sight, as it is sealed against the elements.

All in all, the Trijicon MRO is a very, very solid red dot for marksmen of beginner and intermediate levels. It is also a great sight for those who want to take their game to the next level.

Quick in-field impressions:

  • A very crisp and clear dot, even in direct sunlight.
  • A super rugged build, solid choice for harsh weather conditions where the potential for damaging the product is high
  • Adjusting the dot is efficient and very straightforward

Holosun HS510C

The Holosun 510C is a product that you will come across a lot in these types of lists. A while back, I also chose it as one of my top red dots for turkey hunting. It is truly a diverse and popular beast of a sight.

One of the first things you will notice about this product is its weight, or lack thereof. The Holosun 510C is very light for a red dot sight, coming in at just under 5 ounces. This makes it ideal for those who are afraid of damaging their dexterity and nimbleness by mounting a bulky sight on their Scorpion.

Oh, and while we are on the subject of mounts – the package comes with a very solid and sturdy one. The quick release mount is very easy to use, so you will not have any problems attaching or detaching the sight in a matter of seconds.

How about the optics? Solid. Expect features like unlimited eye relief, lens coatings for improved light transmission, and a very crisp and clear dot. The 2 MOA dot is also adjustable, so you can fine-tune it to your liking and ensure that all of your shots are right on target.

The only drawback of this product is that it uses a CR2032 battery, which is not as common as some of the other options on the market. However, this should not be a dealbreaker, as the battery life is very good and you will not have to replace it often.

In short, the Holosun 510C is an excellent red dot sight that should be on your radar if you are in the market for one.

Quick in-field impressions:

  • Very light and compact, will not weigh you down
  • Crisp and clear dot, body is well-constructed
  • Unpacking offers a nice surprise in the form of an included mount

Bushnell TRS-25 Trophy Series Red Dot Sight

Next up, we are looking at one of my favorite cheapie red dots, the Bushnell TRS-25 Trophy Series Red Dot Sight.

I am a big fan of Bushnell – whether you are looking for a red dot for a shotgun, a red dot for an AR-15, or a dot for some other kind of firearm, Bushnell will probably have something solid on offer.

At just about $100, the Bushnell TRS-25 is a very affordable option that luckily does not skimp on quality. The optics are very clear and the 3 MOA dot is large enough to be easily visible, but not so large that it will obscure your target.

The red dot also offers unlimited eye relief so you can position it pretty much anywhere on your Scorpion and still be able to see the dot.

As a solid plus, the dot comes with included target turrets. A very useful addition for those who want to be able to make on-the-fly adjustments. And, a seasoned firearms enthusiast knows that being able to make adjustments quickly and easily can often mean the difference between hitting your target and missing it.

Any downsides? Well, the dot is not quite as crisp as the premium models on our list. As such, I would not recommend it for high-end shooters looking to upgrade their gear. For these users, I would recommend saving up and investing in a better quality red dot for your CZ Scorpion EVO 3.

Quick in-field impressions:

  • Great value for the money
  • Included target turrets are a nice touch
  • The dot is large and visible, but could be crisper. In harsh weather conditions, the view will probably start to suffer.

Aimpoint Micro T-2

From a cheapie, we move on to the higher price tier. Unfortunately, there is no escaping this product, even if the price is as high as it is.

The thing is, the night vision of the Aimpoint Micro T-2 is just too good to pass up. It is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else on the market, making it a must-have for anyone who might find themselves shooting in low-light conditions.

How does it achieve such stellar night vision? Well, it has to do with the fact that this red dot uses an LED instead of a traditional bulb. This means that there is no filament to burn out, so you can expect a consistent and bright dot even in the darkest of environments.

Of course, at this price point, you also get other features you want in your CZ Scorpion EVO 3 red dot. The durability, design, ease-of-use…it gets elite marks in all of those categories.

So, if you are willing to spend the money and want something suited for a high-end shooter, the Aimpoint Micro T-2 is definitely worth considering.

Quick in-field impressions:

  • Best-in-class night vision
  • LED technology ensures a bright and consistent dot
  • Durable and easy to use

SIG SAUER ROMEO XDR

SIG SAUER ROMEO XDR

This is quite possibly the most popular red dot for CZ Scorpion EVO3. If you go through various online communities of firearms enthusiasts, then this will most likely be the top recommendation.

No wonder, too. The Sig Auer Romeo XDR is a well-rounded product that offers everything you need in a solid red dot. You have your durability, your clear optics, your easy-to-use controls, and a large viewing area. In addition, the price tag is relatively affordable, making this a great option for those who are looking for a quality upgrade without breaking the bank.

The main selling point of “the Romeo”, however, is the Motion Activated Illumination system. This nifty little feature will automatically turn on the red dot when it detects motion, and then turn it off when there is no longer any movement. This is a great addition for anyone who might find themselves in a situation where they need to quickly acquire their target. No fumbling around with controls in the dark…just point and shoot.

Quick in-field impressions:

  • Affordable price tag
  • Motion Activated Illumination is a great feature
  • Large viewing area and clear optics

Obviously, there are more products on the market. However, I believe that the aforementioned 5 are currently the ones that offer the best value for the money.

Wherever you may be with your budget, you will find a suitable dot for your needs on this list.

CZ Scorpion EVO3 is a great firearm and it deserves a great red dot to match. With any of the products on this list, you will be getting just that. And, whatever the naysayers may shout, I genuinely believe that a red dot will NOT hurt your shooting capabilities. Instead, it will only make you improve.

Good luck and happy shooting!
